Data Deletion

Billy lets you delete your account and app data directly from the app. You can also contact us by email if you cannot access your account.

1. Delete In The App

  1. Open Billy on your iPhone.
  2. Go to Settings or Account.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm deletion.

In-app deletion removes your Billy account data and requests deletion of your authentication account.

2. Request Deletion By Email

  1. Email contact@billyapp.online.
  2. Use the subject line: Data Deletion Request.
  3. Send the request from the email address linked to your Billy account.

We may ask for additional information to verify account ownership before deleting data.

3. Data Deleted

  • Account profile, email, preferences, and onboarding data.
  • Stored receipt photos and extracted receipt data.
  • Receipt history, budgets, categories, and spending summaries.
  • Friends, friend codes, shared bills, and settlement records.
  • Billy Pro entitlement records stored by Billy where linked to your account.

4. Subscription Note

If you have an active Billy Pro subscription, deleting your Billy account does not cancel the Apple App Store subscription. Manage or cancel the subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings.

5. Processing Time

In-app deletion is processed immediately where technically possible. Email requests are processed within 30 days after verification, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
