Terms of Service

Billy helps users scan receipts, split shared expenses, track spending, manage budgets, and use AI-powered chat and insights. AI outputs can be wrong, so you are responsible for reviewing receipt data, totals, categories, and split assignments before relying on them.

• You must provide accurate account information.
• You are responsible for activity on your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old or older where required by law.
• You may delete your Billy account from the app account screen.

Billy Pro is offered through auto-renewable subscriptions on iOS. Subscriptions unlock receipt AI, text-based split parsing, Billy chat, and plan-based receipt scan quotas.

• Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Apple.
• Deleting your Billy account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
• Refunds and billing disputes are handled under Apple policies.

You retain ownership of receipt photos, text instructions, friend names, shared bill details, and other content you add to Billy. You grant Billy permission to process that content only as needed to provide app features, maintain your account, and operate the service.

• Do not upload receipts or content you do not have permission to process.
• Do not use Billy to harass, impersonate, or mislead other people.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, abuse, overload, or bypass Billy systems.
• Do not use Billy for illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.

Billy is a productivity and expense-splitting tool. Billy is not a bank, accountant, tax adviser, financial adviser, payment processor, or money transmitter. Any AI-generated insight is informational only.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, and delete data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Billy and its developers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. We do not guarantee that AI extraction, categorization, splitting, or chat responses will be accurate.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Billy after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
